Join your colleagues from across Virginia for two days of networking, thought-provoking educational sessions and innovative business solutions. The 8th Annual Provider Conference hosted by vaACCSES will give your staff, managers and executive leadership the information, strategic direction and the tools for the work you do every day and for what you will need in the future.

Agenda:

General sessions will include a presentation from Ohio on working together to make a difference with advocacy and DSP’s, how to supervise staff who are not all in the same location and using AI responsibly. Also a session by Secretary Littell (invited).

NEW THIS YEAR - WE WILL HAVE TWO TRACKS:

ADMIN TRACK – this track will target CEO’s, HR directors/managers, Finance and other administrators, COO’s and those who consider themselves decision makers. Topics will include:

• A presentation from providers in Ohio who have successfully advocated with
  legislators for rate increases and improvements in Ohio system resulting in huge success stories
• HR Recruitment – Recruiting outside the box and a panel featuring success stories from Virginia and Ohio
• A presentation regarding new funding such as TBI and MH services

SERVICE TRACK – this track will target DSP or Mid-level supervisors/managers responsible for service delivery. Topics will include:

• Supported Decision making
• Clinical tips and tricks for Meaningful Individual Interactions
• A presentation on Smart goals by DBHDS
• Leadership for new, fairly new and even long term supervisors.

  More sessions are being confirmed. Two full days of wonderful informative sessions and great opportunities for networking and getting to know providers from around the Commonwealth.
