What stood out on the visit
- Their store, Bloom, a retail space showcasing goods entirely handmade by individuals in ServiceSource’s programs, with a model that puts the creators first: 100% of the revenue from every sale goes directly back to the person who made it.
- The scale of ServiceSource’s reach was striking, with a footprint spanning the entire Northern Virginia region, a reminder of just how far their impact extends across the community.
- The employment readiness program left a real impression, too. Participants were fully engaged in learning practical, real-world employment skills, delivered in a way that felt approachable and built for genuine, lasting success.
